The Shows
We are excited to continue the Tacoma Wedding Show, presented by South Sound Wedding & Event/ Bird + Duck Media!
For almost two decades, South Sound Wedding & Event produced the region's best bridal shows, formerly known as the South Sound Wedding Shows. These localized boutique-style shows were a smashing hit prior to the pandemic. In Jan. 2024, the show returned rebranded as the Tacoma Wedding Show - a South Sound Regional Event and was a HUGE success!
In 2025, in preparation for the 2026 show, we will be adding to our title to create the Tacoma Wedding + Event Show. “By adding ”+ Event” to our show title, we hope to engage more than just couples at the show. The reality is, most of our vendors serve more than just weddings, and we want to best support our vendors and grow their audience here in the region,” says Nadine Kohler, owner of the show. “

Land Statement
Our team at the the Tacoma Wedding Show acknowledges that we operate on the traditional homelands of the Puyallup and Nisqually Tribes, as well as on lands with significance to other Coast Salish tribes. These tribes and people have lived on and stewarded these lands since time immemorial and continue to do so today. We recognize that this land acknowledgement is one small step toward true allyship and honor their voices and the histories of the Indigenous people of the South Sound region.
The Team
Events are my passion!
Tacoma native, Nadine has worked in events for over two decades and enjoys providing a platform for local small businesses to flourish in the South Sound region. Nadine is the owner of South Sound Wedding & Event ( Bird + Duck Media LLC) and former publisher of South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine (formerly sold on newsstands prior to the pandemic).

20+ Years Event Experience!
As a North Tacoma native, Monica has been an events cheerleader in the Puget Sound for years serving on the Seattle NACE board for 14 years and the Tacoma NACE board for 4 years. She brings a wealth of experience from catering, business ownership, sales, and marketing to our team. You may have previously met Monica while she worked for Ocean5/Table 47, One Hundred Reception Center, The Fairview Club, or A Grand Affair Catering!

Matt is a transplant to the South Sound region from Vancouver, Washington and moved here to marry his soulmate, Nadine. As Nadine's right-hand in supporting the business operations for the wedding shows, Matt is an invaluable member of the event team!
